Under 15 C
Result of the day has to go to Waltham Wolves White at Under 15 C. Going into the match they were bottom of the table with only one point as they travelled to Brookers Field to play top of the table Bridgemary Colts.
The Whites side have never won a league match since they entered the league and it has only been this season when they broke their points duck with a 3-3 draw with Liss Athletic Flame way back in September. So hopes were not that high as they travelled but a tremendous team effort saw the lads from Bishops Waltham come away with a great 4-3 win and draw themselves level on points with Liss at the bottom of the table. They went 2-0 up with goals from Henry Boden and an og but then let Colts back into the game to go 3-2 down. Boden then scored twice more to complete his hat trick. Credit also to our goalkeeper George Wharf who made several good saves throughout the game.
Chris Plow, Luke Manktelow and Adam Willis scored the goals for the shocked leaders, but Colts were very flattering in their praise for the Wolves side.
